2. The ORIGINAL Karaoke machine. This was also known as a "45 record player". My girlfriends and I would play our favorite singles and sing into our hair brushes for hours!!! Yes, we really did do that, just like in Grease :)
3. Yo-yo's. This is a nod for my brothers also. We would try and perfect our tricks all the time!!!
4. Another nod for my brothers, but honestly, I loved playing with our Rockem Sockem Robots!! I especially liked knocking their heads off {This is the object of the game}. They didn't take it well.
5. And this is certainly almost one of my favorites. We hung out at the roller rink every chance we could get. THE best place to meet cute boys :)
So there it is...my childhood in a nutshell. For those of you trying to figure out just how old I am...this should be clueing you in big time :)
P.S. Next post wil be my 100th...look for a giveaway :)

I had a Huffy bike that I loved...until my mom hit it with her car.
I had that SAME EXACT pink bike for YEARS!!!! :)
The roller rink really was the best place to meet cute boys!! I think I need a banana seat bike. So adorable!!

Great list! I loved to go skating!
My boys listen to my Grease CD about 3 times a week. They put jel in their hair and dance away!
Have a great day!
My boys have the robots right now. I love it when they're playing with them... it takes me back.
I loved my Duncan yoyo!!!!
That record player brings back memories too!!!!

i love that you and your brothers played outside a lot with "toys" that you made yourself ~ too few kids even know how to do that anymore!
have a wonderful week!
I think my husband still has his Rockem Sockem Robots.
I had forgotten about my 45 record player that was in a "box" that I could carry around.
Aaaaahhhh!! Records!! I loved my old record player. I had ALL KINDS of records, even Whitney Houston 'I wanna dance with somebody'. Good times.
Love your list!! And thanks for all those sweet compliments!
Love the rollerskates!!! My mom use to take me and a different friend each week to the rollerskating rink, and then to get a big ice cream cone. Such fun memories!!!
i thought i had already left you a comment but i don't see it. i never was great with roller skates... i was the one clinging to the side rails just to get around.
I could pretty much copy your list (except the robots -- no boys in our family, so everything was ALL girl)! Congrats on your 100th post -- it's a huge milestone!
