Extreme Makeover Me Edition Update

{ae filkins}

Time for another update on the Extreme Makeover Me Edition. Well I won't bore you with the details of how to stop this yo-yoing I have going on with 2lbs {I think I'll call her Doris} So Doris and I keep having this spat...I want her gone..she wants to stick around. So I told Doris you try and get in my way, you won't know what hit you!

Well, she's hitting back! I just can't ditch her! Oh, well...I'm going to stay on track and keep moving forward. Eventually Doris will get bored and go away...I hope :)

Amber's question this week was to post a Healthy recipe. I love making my own version of a Chipotle Salad.

You can get the full recipe and how to make it here.

It really is one of my favorites. You can keep all the components seperate to make it easy to whip together quickly, when you just don't know what to eat!

Yuuuuummmmmm, that salad looks delicioso! I'm sorry Doris didn't get the memo. She has long over-stayed her welcome, now, hasn't she? You look great, though, darlin'. You are one hot mama in those summer time skirts! :)

Hugs!

YUMMO! I love Chipotle....the closest one is oh so very far from me which is probably good because when I was pregnant with my first baby...OHMYHECK...I ate there every week and I never ordered a salad.

Also...I spit my cold brewed iced coffee all over my desk when you brought up Doris. She's like the elephant in the room....DORIS! GO AWAY!

I'm about to name my fat rolls.....

Have a great week!

That salad looks and sounds great. I have never had a chipotle salad, can't wait to try it. Maybe Doris will find her way on down the road soon.....just keep doing your best to kick her to the curb.

Hi Lisa! I love that you have named your yo yo pounds. I think I have her sister living with me. I keep going up and down with the same 2-3 pounds. So frustrating!

Your salad looks amazing. I am going to get that recipe. I love salads when the weather warms up!

Have a great day!

I'm definitely trying this! What do you think I could use instead of sour cream to make it a little lighter? I don't do fat free sour cream...sorry!

I hope Doris soon falls off the face of the planet!

Go away Doris!! I love how Connie said that she named her fat rolls. I'm going to name my love handles. I'm gonna name them Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. lol.

Okay, and Xazmin, you need to try the kind of FF sour cream that I use. It's GOOOOOD!!

Okay, I even got my lazy butt up off the couch to get you the brand b/c it's so good. It's called Naturally Yours, and it's a cow looking container. Yummy!

So Chipotle is a restaurant? I'm Canadian and we don't have them here...but I think I will definitely have to try making that salad.
